I’m Not a Greedy Person is a Horrible Thing to Say

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Why do so many people who “want to do business” start their sentences with “I’m not a greedy person, I just ____”?

Look, I’m just here to help you achieve your goals.

I don’t care if you are or are not greedy.

That’s a judgment you are placing on yourself.

But, what I have come to believe through nearly 20 years of practice, is that if you start off limiting yourself with such beliefs and statements your chances of creating something meaningful are seriously diminished.

Go. Do. Achieve.

See what’s possible.

Stop putting yourself inside this silly little made-up box.

Your whisper may be intended to be a ROAR…
… but some of you will never know.

Because you’re worried about “being greedy”.

Give me a break.

“I’m not a greedy person” is a horrible thing to say if you ever want to enjoy any meaningful level of success, because you are killing your potential before you EVER get started.

To me it seems pretty greedy for you to keep all of you to yourself and not share your potential with the world.
